Mark Planellas-Witzsch holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The George Washington University / UPC (EAE), as well as a Degree in Philosophy and Arts from U.A.B. (specializing in philosophy of art) and, on the other hand, Bachelor of Information Sciences.

Currently he is a licensed official museum and monument guide. He has published several books on art and taught the subject at university, whilst writing articles in newspapers and essays on culture and holding seminars on Picasso, Gaudi, Miró, Dali and avant-garde Catalan and Spanish artists in academic centers.
