The historical connection between the coast and the interior.
Hike (Approx. 3h, medium difficulty):
Section: Sa Tuna -> Cap Sa Sal -> Sa Riera -> Ascent to Begur Castle.
Description: A wilder and less-travelled section of the path. The trail winds along the cliffside, offering spectacular views. The arrival at Sa Riera, a more open beach, marks a change of pace before you begin the ascent to Begur Castle, a medieval watchtower from where you can see the entire Empordà plain and the coastline.
Lunch (2:30 PM): Instead of dining in the tourist-heavy center of Begur, a private transfer takes you 15 minutes inland to the village of Pals. In the heart of the Gothic quarter of Pals, enjoy a meal at a renowned restaurant that fuses traditional "sea and mountain" cuisine with a contemporary touch.
Afternoon/Evening: Time for a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets of Pals or nearby Peratallada. Return to the hotel at sunset.
